PAYMENT
We accept payment via Direct Deposit, Cheque or Credit Card/Paypal. Payment must be made at time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed. The process of making your gown will not start until full payment is made and all details are confirmed such as size, measurements etc as all gowns are made to order.
 
We accept secure online payments for major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) via PayPal.  All your transaction details are handled by PayPal and Flowergirls and Brides does not keep any record of card numbers, expiry dates etc.  You do not need to have a or set up a PayPal account to pay with your credit card (unless you are paying from your PayPal account).

DELIVERY TIMES
We highly recommend that you order your gown early (preferably at least 3 months before the event) to allow for any minor fittings to be made and to be able to match accessories etc. To enquire about making and delivery please email [email protected]
 
CUSTOM MADE
Normally our gowns are made to order but we also carry some in stock. If you are urgently need of a gown please contact us to check what is ready available.
 
FABRIC COLOUR
If you are ordering bridesmaids dresses we highly recommend that you order them at the same time to eliminate the possibility of any colour differences in fabric.

Each roll of fabric may be slightly different as the dye on each batch can change.
If you order one dress and then the rest at a later date we can not guarantee colour match.


Orders placed in this manner, resulting in colour variations, will not constitute valid reason for a refund.

 

SHIPPING

We offer 2 methods of shipping - by courier and standard postage tracked - for you to choose from.  Delivery by courier is next business day and for standard postage tracked please allow for up 3 business days. 
There are no refunds or returns for late deliveries if NZ Post or Courier Post do not meet their target delivery times.  For NZ Post standard postage tracked service the target deliver is 1-3 business days and for Courier Post the target delivery is the following business day. We advise you to allow extra time in case of delays.
Tracking number for both methods will be supplied once your gown has been shipped.  For courier we use Courier Post) and for standard postage tracked New Zealand Post.  Please note that shipping cost in your shopping cart may be an overestimation and any differences in postage, once the gown has been shipped, will be refunded to you.
DELAYS IN SHIPPING
We are not responsible for any delays in shipping due to Customs delay, holidays, delays in domestic shipping or any other delays that may happen overseas. From time to time, these delays happen but very rarely.

STANDARD SIZING
To work out your size please refer to our size chart on our site.
You will need to measure your bust, waist and hips and then compare it to our chart. If you are in between sizes please choose the larger size as it is easier to take a gown in rather than let out.

All dresses can be made with corset back which will give you 4-6 inches to play with by pulling the ties in or out. Gowns are available made to measure or standard size. We recommend that you have your measurements taken by a professional such as a tailor or dressmaker as your gown will be made to the measurements that you provide us.

Please measure while wearing the under garments and shoes you will be wearing on the day (if possible).

It is likely that you may need to alter the dress when received to achieve the best possible fit. We do not do alternations. You will need to take your gown to a professional to have it altered.
 
PLEASE NOTE: We will confirm all of your gown details with you before processing your order. Once we have confirmed all of your details and the making of your gown has begun we cannot make any changes to your gown so please choose carefully.
 
We only accept returns or exchanges on any wedding gown that has not been altered and has not been worn. We cannot accept returns on custom sized dresses or on dresses that have been customized by the designer for you.
 
No refund will be issued for altered, modified or used gown.
 
If you have any issues with your gown once received, please contact us immediately within 24 hours of receipt.
 
Standard size wedding gowns are only returnable for a refund within 7 days of receipt.  Return shipping costs are non-refundable.
 
 
MADE TO MEASURE GOWN
VERY IMPORTANT!
We highly recommend that you have your measurements taken by a professional such as a dressmaker or tailor, so that your measurements are correct.
This will avoid any disappointment of a gown not fitting you properly.
It will be your responsibility to provide us with the correct measurements as these will be used to make your gown.

Gowns that are made from the wrong measurements supplied by you cannot be returned or refunded.
RETURN POLICY FOR Bridesmaid Dresses, flowergirl dreses/ communion dresses/suits
Please choose carefully as we do not refund if you change your mind. 
We are happy to exchange your flower girl dress/communion dress, within 7 days of receipt, if the dress does not fit or if you wish to exchange it for a different style, providing the dress is in its original condition.
If the dress is faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy.
Custom-made bridesmaid dresses are non-refundable.
RETURN POLICY FOR SHOES
You do not need to worry about purchasing shoes from us!
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the shoes within 7 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price. The shoes must be returned in its original unused condition and in its original packaging.  Return postage is at your own expense and is non refundable.
 
RETURN POLICY FOR ACCESSORIES (such as veils,  petticoats, jewellery, hair accessories/headpieces, shrugs jackets capes, wraps, garters, mens ties, cuff links (EXCLUDING SHOES)
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the item(s) within 7 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price..
However, earrings are not refundable due to hygiene reasons.
