We want to ensure that you have the perfect fit for your perfect day!

We recommend that you get a qualified seamstress to measure you. Always get someone else to take the measurements for you: measuring yourself will give inaccurate numbers. Measure with undergarments similar to those you will be wearing with your dress, do not measure over other clothing.

Wedding Dress sizing is different from NZ clothing sizes. You may find that you will need to go up/down several sizes, so please check the size chart below and compare it with your body measurments.  It is a lot easier to take a gown in rather than let it out.

We recommend you choose the lace up (corset) back option as this will give you a bit of leeway and be able to tie the laces to get a perfect fit to your body shape.

For Custom-Made Gowns, we require the following measurements;

* Bust

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust and center the tape on your back so it's levelled all the way around.

* Under Bust

Wrap the tape around your ribcage right below your bust. Make sure the tape is levelled all the way around.

* Waist

Bend to one side to find your natural indentation in torso. This is your natural waist. Run tape around natural waistline.

* Hips

Wrap tape around the fullest part of your hips, which is usually 7-9" below your natural waistline.

* Waist To Hem

Hold the measuring tape at your waist while a friend pulls it down to the length you want your dress.

* Hollow To Floor (barefoot)

Hold the measuring tape at your center collarbone (hollow) while a friend pulls it down to the floor.

* Shoulder to Shoulder

Place the tape on "top" of the shoulders. Measure from the edge of the left shoulder across to the prominent neck bone located at the center of the back of the neck continuing to the edge of the right shoulder.

* Arm Circumference

Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm.

* Arm Eye Circumference

This measurement gives us the size of the sleeve hole that you are comfortable wearing. This measurement is entirely subjective and you can make it as deep or as tight as you are comfortable with.

* Sleeve Length

Measure from your shoulder seam to desired sleeve length with your arm relaxed by your side to get the best possible measurement.

* Height (barefoot)

This is your body height. Don't wear shoes when taking this measurement

* Heel Height

This is the height of the shoes are going to wear with this dress.
